As the Community Lead for Write the Docs (WTD) Kenya, Hillary has made a significant impact through writing blogs and how-to guides that help community members overcome technical challenges. He sees every piece of positive feedback as validation of the value his work brings to others. This belief in the power of community drives his commitment to giving back, considering himself a "product of the community. Organizing events, bootcamps, AMA sessions, and inviting industry experts to share insights with his community are among his most inspiring activities.
Python is Hillary's favorite programming language, and he relies on VS Code, Copilot, and GitHub for his development workflow. Outside of tech, Hillary finds joy in photography. His dedication to open source and technical writing was recognized when he was named the Open Source Writer of the Year in 2022.
